The station’s ultimate mandate is to beam a searchlight on the lives, tales, stories, experiences, journeys and struggles of emigrants and immigrants, identifying and addressing the critical challenges they face, and providing a supportive media space that empowers and inspires them to adapt, survive, thrive and succeed in their new countries.

JapaCity’s most exciting programming style is its inclusive media ‘safe space’ that is designed to provide psychological and emotional support for immigrants who are experiencing any form of psychological or emotional distress or anguish, as well as learn from real-life stories and experiences that can help struggling immigrants cope, survive, adapt, thrive and succeed on their journeys.
Apart from its unique entertainment style designed to make immigrants ‘feel at home’ away from home, all media shows are designed to inform and educate the audience, touching crucial aspects of working, studying or living abroad such as immigration, health and wellbeing, marital and family life, parenting, finances, career, study and a host of others.
